I spent today in a School Improvement Team meeting. Our principal is very interested in the book ‘The World Is Flat” by Thomas Friedman. This book, along with “A Whole New Mind” by Daniel Pink, has much to say about our future and the need to prepare our kids to meet that future effectively. In addition to purchasing a few copies of each book, I would like to create a web page/blog post with links to good articles & blog posts about the books and about “flat world” & Web 2.0 concepts in general. I am hoping that this will increase interest in using Web 2.0 technologies in the classroom.
I would be very grateful for links to any articles or blog posts that
you could recommend. I will add the suggested articles and discussion threads below. Thanks for your help!
